MTN DEW Cupcakes With MTN DEW Frosting!

I love cupcakes and citrus flavored pop so putting them together is a super no brainer. The Geeky Hostess whipped these up to eat during a movie marathon to stay awake, but I'm sure they are just as good to recreationally.

While I love the idea I don't love the pop used, MTN DEW (commonly known as Mountain Dew) but surely substituting MTN DEW for a far superior pop like Mello Yello would work just as good. Good news I'd say.

Get the recipe here!

This Domino's Delivery Scooter Talks

As we draw closer to a world with more and more electric vehicles on the road there is a risk associated with them that is coming to light. They are very very quiet. Too quiet, really. Domino's in the Netherlands has gotten help from a company to make their electric delivery scooters heard -- with humorous results.

As you can see the Safe Sound technology not only warns pedestrians and cyclists, but also entertains and makes a great video for bloggers to put on their blogs and inadvertently advertise Domino's Pizza. Stupid bloggers.

Tested Cooks Steaks In A Cooler

I'm beginning to see a pattern with Tested videos now days. If the video sounds like it could be weird in a bad way (yes, there is such a thing) then the video will blow your fucking mind! Just look back to how absurd I though the paper airplane guy was going to be.

When I saw the head line of 'How To Cook a Great Steak Using Sous Vide in a Cooler' I thought it was going to be an instruction video on how to get to food poisoning town. So now I know better and will let Will and Norm share this super interesting cooking technique.

I will be the first to admit the blowtorch is a bit overkill and a screaming hot skillet will probably work out fine for just about anyone. Now onto the 'putting the meat into water that is the temperature you want it to be' thought process is just so simple that it is really hard not to be skeptical, but there it is.

Have A Black Metal Birthday With This Immortal Cake

Ever since these cake shows have been on TV people have been watching and learning how the pros do it and going crazy making their own kick ass cakes. A Metal Sucks reader by the name of Bryan sent in the picture of the Immortal cake his girlfriend Vanessa made him.

A knife, blood, pentagrams, and inverted crosses are all awesome things to find on your cake and in everyday life really.

Be sure to check out the post on Metal Sucks for more pictures of the cake.

Now, someone needs to make a Mayhem cake that makes use of a tiny shotgun made of sugar.

Kit Kat World Variety Bag

I just want everyone in the U.S. to know there is a small place in my heart that hates you for not liking Kit Kat more. If Kit Kat were as popular here as they are in Japan there would be a ton of Kit Kat flavors -- and that would rock. Fortunately J-box has my back with the 'Kit Kat World Variety' bag.

While these aren't the strange and exotic flavors that Japan has it's still interesting that the standard Kit Kat's taste different in different places depending on the tastes of the people.

Each bag will contain 5 Kit Kat from Australia, 5 from England, and 3 from Japan. To make this bag even better 20 YEN ($0.25 USD) from each bag sold will go to help people affected by the earthquake in Japan last year.

The Kit Kat World Variety bag is available from J-box for $5.80.

Tokyo Had An In-N-Out Burger -- For A Day

You read that correctly. Tokyo, Japan had a In-N-Out Burger for a day, and then it was gone. It wasn't because they were run out of town or that they went under in a single day -- it was research. At least that's what they say (I'm kidding).

In-N-Out got an established Harajuku burger joint, Zip-Zap, to help them to do market research to see if In-N-Out is worth bringing to Japan. It appears they got a lot of buzz considering the local tweets of tasty burgers that you can see at Japan Probe.

It's kind of hard to believe that they could get a good amount of results from only one day, but that's not my gig. If it was I have great market research showing my kitchen is a great place for an In-N-Out Burger.

The Ultimate Pancake Plate

A couple weeks back I was inspired to have a good old pancake dinner by the breakfast announcement from guys over at Giant Bomb. It wasn't until now that I realised that my pancake dinner wasn't what it could have been due to my substandard plate situation. I didn't have 'Pancake Plates'.

That's right, plates made with pancake consumption in mind. How so? Well, the plate is made with a raised edge to slope the plate toward the pancake destroyer (consumer) allowing the syrup to pool for pancake dipping if syrup coverage isn't up to snuff. It very well may be the greatest invention since the pancake itself.

These 12 inch diameter microwave and dishwasher safe ceramic plates are available in white or buttercream in sets of two for $45.00 from Uncommon Goods.

I will now go cry for the people who don't know about these plates.
