When you think about it most lamps have not changed in about a billion years and they are only good for one thing, providing light. I think it's about time for lamps to go on a journey to find themselves and evolve (because that's how evolution works). There are others out there that not only think the same thing, but are taking action!

A Canadian electrician has put his knowledge to use in making lamps made out of scraps and leftovers, which make them LOOK awesome, but he has also made them function awesome. The lamp bases can have outlets, USB, and light switches all enclosed in great looking wall outlet boxes. How useful is that?!

These Chain Chomp Earrings Are Fabulous

Etsy is awesome because it's where gaming, fashion, crafting, and creativity go and mingle. The products that clearly contain all of those qualities are easily my favorites. So what has caught my attention today?

Take the chain chomp from Super Mario and cross it with earrings and you have a product that is clever and will sell itself to others. These are not clip on (but that wouldn't be a bad next step).
