Connor is a skilled assassin and Native American which would make the act totally within the bounds in terms of historical accuracy, but it didn't set well with the team making the game -- especially after they learned that scalping often occurred on living people.

While I for one can understand why they left it out, and I won't get all angry about it (unlike fans of some games). To put a positive spin on things at least this won't give potential ammunition to the rats in the government that have nothing better to do than bitch about games.
It still would have been totally br00tal though.
