Gifs And Chiptune Dubstep Brought To You By PBS

I'd like to think of a stuffy boardroom with a giant conference table with all of the spots taken by old men and women in suits completely silent, but thinking very hard. Their contemplation is broken when one man stands up and shouts "Oh shit, the internet!" and everyone jumps up and celebrates.

That's my dream scenario of how PBS started to coming to the internet via You Tube and making amazing stuff like this:

This is a product of the PBS Off Book channel which has made videos examining the art of the animated .GIF and the impact of Kickstarter, Creative Commons, and Creators Project.

PBS also brought the Ideas Channel to You Tube which asked if Super Mario Bros. is surrealist art. It's nice to know that PBS is so adaptable to the internet.

inb4 PBS starts running Twitter 'RT' and Facebook 'Like' drives.

Be sure to check out the 'PBS Off Book' and 'PBS Idea Channel' channels.
